Blogging about bits of life. They tell me I’m reserved, eccentric, different…..all those adjectives that might make you feel like you don’t fit in but they don’t have that effect on me. They set me free and allow me to think and write about anything I want. I have lots of interests. You can probably already tell that from the plethora of topics I write about on this blog.

I am a full-time freelance writer with a variety of clients. I stay busy! I’m interested in getting started on a non-fiction book. Details will be forthcoming.

I also write some non-fiction for my blog, primarily opinion pieces. You can look under Categories on the front page to read some of those articles. I write about a wide range of subjects.

I have written flash fiction for this blog. In the future, while I’ll still be writing some fiction for my blog, I’m focusing primarily on non-fiction. I have a novel in the works, historical fiction. I’ll keep you posted.

Being from Appalachia, the region is one of my primary interests. I  write about the region I call my home. I have a regular Friday feature on Appalachia like this post on Appalachia and some of the region’s favorite food. I write about healthy living and what helps me get healthy. Then, something will strike my fancy and I will write about a a completely different topic that I think you might enjoy. Take a look at the topics I write about here. On a personal note, I split my time between my home in Kentucky and my home on an island off the coast of Ft Myers, Florida, from where I draw my inspiration and let the ocean sustain me.
